Description

Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar is a 17,000-square-foot sports, dining and entertainment venue located at the north end of State Farm Stadium’s Great Lawn. It combines a menu of American favorites, the elements of a world-class sports bar and a BetMGM Sportsbook, the first located on the grounds of an NFL Stadium. It is a high-energy destination for sports and elevated casual dining, craft beer and cocktails.


Position Summary

● Coach FOH employees as needed and assist in their professional development.

 ● Adhere to and oversee Department of Health and company sanitation standards. 

 ● Oversee kitchen staff.

 ● Monitor food inventory, ordering, and cost control.

 ● Supervise BOH operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating.

● Handle pressure and stress in a calm, controlled, and professional manner. 

● Make employee-related decisions consistent with company policies. 

● Control cash and other receipts in accordance with company accounting guidelines.

 ● Oversee completion of all opening and closing duties to company standard.

 ● Issue and/or witness employee progressive discipline when needed. 

● Follow supervisor's instructions, communicate well, and support coworkers while being a team player.

 

Our Ideal Candidate: 

● 2 years of previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.

 ● Friendly, professional, and outgoing. 

● Able to bend and lift up-to 50 lbs. 

● Capable of performing job duties or tasks that may require repetitive motion. 

● Willing to work in an environment that may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.

 ● Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
