Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technology Delivery Specialist to serve as the critical link between our IT support team and employees, acting as a help desk resource and providing hands-on technical support and desktop support. This role is central to maintaining productivity across our organization by resolving information technology issues quickly, coordinating with external IT partners, and ensuring staff have the hardware, software, and network access they need to succeed.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive and customer-focused mindset, and proven experience in IT help desk or technical support environments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary IT help desk contact for all employee technology-related inquiries and technical support needs.
- Provide first-level desktop support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Collaborate with external IT support providers to resolve escalated technical problems.
- Support onboarding by ensuring new hires receive timely setup of hardware, software, and account access.
- Escalate unresolved or complex information technology issues to higher-level support tiers.
- Lead biweekly IT educational presentations to enhance employee knowledge and reduce common help desk issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and ticket resolution for common technical problems.
- Assist with infrastructure project management including timelines, asset procurement, and implementation.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle: procurement, inventory tracking, and equipment/account audits.
- Perform other duties to support the organization’s overall IT support function.
