The Fabrication Supervisor oversees daily operations in the assigned fabrication area, ensuring production meets safety, quality, yield, and efficiency goals. This role is responsible for enforcing company and regulatory standards, building employee engagement, and managing resources to achieve operational targets.

Daily Responsibilities

- Supervise daily fabrication operations, ensuring compliance with EHS, food safety, and quality standards.
- Lead and develop employees, fostering a collaborative, safety-focused work environment.
- Monitor staffing, job assignments, and rotations to meet production demands.
- Conduct new hire and position-transfer training, ensuring proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Enforce safety and food safety policies, taking immediate corrective action when needed.
- Maintain accurate records, including work orders, training documentation, safety letters, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with USDA inspectors to ensure all products meet regulatory and company specifications.
- Drive operational improvements, including yield optimization, cost control, and employee retention.
- Plan and organize production schedules based on product types, quantities, and delivery dates.

Qualifications
Â
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum 3 years of industry processing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in a processing facility.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Proficient in basic math and able to maintain accurate written records.
- Ability to supervise up to 150 employees.
- Ability to stand for 8–12 hours on concrete floors in cold environments and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
