Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales – National Accounts to lead customer relations with a major Tier I account, drive new business opportunities at this account and replicate success at other major Tier I accounts. This is an individual contributor role with sustaining sales functions on existing accounts and new sales functions in identifying and closing new opportunities at the primary account and similar Tier I accounts.

National Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an QSR account of 2000+ locations.
  • Interface with account at multi-levels and functional areas including Category Manager, Culinary Leads, Logistics, and Quality Control.
  • Lead the development of customer-specific strategies, pricing, and promotional programs.
  • Manage and grow top-line volume and bottom-line profitability across assigned accounts.

Operator Engagement

  • Collaborate directly with national and regional operators to develop customized solutions aligned with menu needs and culinary trends.
  • Support ideation and product development for private label or exclusive SKUs.
  • Utilize culinary and marketing support to build differentiated selling stories.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to execute flawless commercialization.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, track pipeline activity, and report progress regularly.
  • Be part of the PMO process for new developments
  • Active Participant in the S&OP process.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of progressive sales experience in the foodservice industry, with at least 4 years focused on national account management.
  • Experience with custom product development and commercialization in a culinary-forward environment.

Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and foodservice analytics.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Passionate about food and driving operator success.
