Job Summary
The Director of Specialty and Industrial Accounts is a strategic commercial leader responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth within the specialty and industrial sectors. This role involves working with a high-performing team to manage key customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:Â Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to expand the company's presence and profitability within specialty operators and industrial manufacturer markets.
- Account Management:Â Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, and other strategic partners.
- Business Development:Â Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market segment expansion, cross-selling, and upselling in both existing and new partners.
- Market Analysis:Â Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform commercial strategy, pricing, and product development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Â Partner with internal teams, including marketing, product development, R&D, and operations, to align sales efforts with business initiatives.
- Financial Oversight:Oversee demand forecasting, sales budgeting, and performance tracking to meet or exceed aggressive growth targets.
- Brand Representation:Execute product displays and interactions at Industry Trade Shows, customer presentations, and act as an overall Champion Brand Ambassador.
- Process Improvement:Drive the adoption of CRM and sales analytics tools to improve forecasting accuracy and sales productivity within the channel.
- Compliance:Ensure all commercial activities and contracts comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Executive Communication:Â Report regularly to senior leadership on sales performance, market dynamics, and strategic recommendations.
- Collaboration: Provides clear, strategic direction to the Foodservice and Non-Commercial team members on account management and sales execution.
Required Skills and QualificationsExperience:
- Minimum of Ten (10)years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, with a focus on industrial or specialty sectors.
- Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Significant experience in Culinary/R & D ingredients a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong strategic and analytical abilities, with experience using data to inform decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong business acumen and an in-depth understanding of the specialty or industrial market.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience a related field is required.
- Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events TBD (typically 50%)
