
SERVER – POSITION OBJECTIVE
Servers will be responsible for taking orders and serving food to guests in an accurate and timely manner. Duties will include taking food and drink orders, ensuring that tables are served properly, and that all payments are collected.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with team members in all positions. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is greatly preferred.
SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Engage with guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Take food and drink orders from guests accurately and with a positive attitude.
• Enter patrons food and drink orders into the computer system for transmittal to kitchen and bar staff.
• Have knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
• Ensure patrons are enjoying their meals and take appropriate action to correct any issues or concerns.
• Collect payments from patrons.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side-work for every shift.
