Position Summary:
The Senior Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the marketing by managing incoming project requests, overseeing marketing inquiries, and ensuring timely execution and coordination across teams. This position also serves as a key liaison for compliance-related reporting, particularly in response to audit requests and regulatory documentation.
In addition to project oversight, the Senior Marketing Specialist will receive training in marketing compliance standards specific to the mortgage industry. The role includes reviewing and approving marketing materials, loan originator websites, and advertising campaigns to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and adherence to federal and state regulatory guidelines.
This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong understanding of both marketing operations and the regulatory landscape in mortgage banking.
Essential Job Functions:
Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Partner with marketing team members to enhance lead-nurturing efforts and campaign automation across email, social media, events, and content channels.
- Manage and coordinate marketing’s response to compliance audits, ensuring all required documentation is compiled, reviewed, and submitted accurately and on time.
- Triage and review marketing requests from loan originators and sales teams, verifying proper assignment and ensuring all required compliance disclosures are included prior to distribution.
- Support execution of targeted marketing plans and initiatives designed to engage key audiences through digital and traditional channels.
- Generate and distribute project-related performance reports and key metrics as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership on campaign development, including content creation, product launches, sales enablement, and social media initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison to loan originators and sales teams to align project requests with marketing goals and strategies.
- Review and reconcile marketing invoices; submit monthly expense reports to Accounts Payable.
- Coordinate meetings and project timelines with external marketing partners and internal executive stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain compliant and up-to-date loan originator profiles, ensuring consistency across signatures, websites, and external-facing platforms.
- Perform additional marketing-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Actual compensation will be decided based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience assessed during the interview process, and internal pay equity. Compensation may also include incentives such as per-file bonuses and discretionary bonuses as applicable to the role.
