Position Summary: Collaborate with our team to offer delivery services to our clients, as well as pick-up services from vendors and other clients. This position is based in Fresno, CA.

Pay Range: Average annual pay range $45,000 - $70,000 (pay rate is determined by individual skills, years of experience, endorsements, and other relevant factors)

Shift:

  • 1st shift, subject to change based on company requirements.
  • 5-6 days on, 1-2 days off

Job Description: 

  • Connect with customer as the face of our company
  • Deliver food items to commercial and non-commercial operators in a timely and efficient manner
  • Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order
  • Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
  • Operate vehicle safely in a variety of traffic and weather conditions
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
  • Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
  • Drive trucks to weigh stations along routes in compliance with state regulations as needed.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and effectively

 

Qualifications

Physical Requirements/Environment:

  • Be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Requires prolonged sitting or standing.                         
  • Must work in hot and cold environments.
  • Requires stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching. 
  • Must comply with department dress code.
  • Must work in noisy and crowded environments.       
  • Must work in and around fumes and odors.
  • Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.

 

Qualifications:

  • Class A Driver’s License                                                             
  • Must pass Drug Test and Physical 
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes                                                        
  • Ability to work in all types of weather.
  • Availability to work long hours when needed.                
  • Acceptable driving record (Must be approved by insurance)
