POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a vital role in our Information Technology team success. The Business Intelligence Analyst will lead and/or execute the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support for data analytics, reporting and process automation solutions. This role will work with multiple stakeholders to understand and define requirements for transforming data into actionable insights, assist in visualizing these requirements, then work with the development team to build, test and implement solutions to support the defined business needs. Hybrid/Remote.

Essential Job Function:Â Â Â Â Â Â

- Facilitate business process reviews and requirement elicitation sessions to define stakeholder requirements for data analytics, reporting or process automation needs within the businessÂ
- Translates requirements into visual and/or technical specifications as neededÂ
- Collaborates with the development team to build the required data sets and deliver finished productsÂ
- Creates and executes testing scenarios to verify requirements are met prior to implementationÂ
- Coordinates and communicates with business partners on the status of projects and/or requestsÂ
- Manages the BI development queue, adding requests that come in via the ticketing system, email or verbalÂ
- Works with direct supervisor to prioritize the development queue and keep it updated, ensuring the development team is always focused on the highest priority tasksÂ
- Stays in extremely close contact with the development team and always has a pulse on activitiesÂ
- Partners with the development team to ensure data availability, quality and accuracy, and to drive adoption of data-driven decision making within the businessÂ
- Becomes the subject matter expert on all data, reporting and tools within the BI domain and facilitates group and individual end-user trainingÂ
- Maintains and develops strong internal business relationships to influence successful project outcomesÂ
- Troubleshoots basic data quality and/or logic issues that arise

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
|
- 3+ years of experience in a business intelligence and/or business analyst roleÂ
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization. This role requires strong technical skills, communication skills and a passion for using data to drive key business decisions.Â
- Knowledge of BI concepts and tools, such as ETL, dimensional modeling, Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, QlikÂ
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse platform, such as Snowflake
- Proven experience writing SQL queries and using Excel to analyze data – you love data and don’t mind getting in the detailsÂ
- Strong problem-solver, logical thinker, exceptionally organized, and process-drivenÂ
- Experience designing insightful data visualizations and using a detail-oriented approach to ensure data qualityÂ
- Fast learner who seeks to understand not only the data, but what the data means to the businessÂ
- Strong business and technical acumen with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple waysÂ
- Self-driven with the ability to manage workload with minimal direction Â
- Comfortable leading meetings, presentations and conducting training sessions Â
- Demonstrated understanding and application of system development lifecycleÂ

Preferred Qualifications:Â Â Â Â Â

- Prior experience creating datasets and reports in Sigma Computing or Power BIÂ Â
- Prior experience in Snowflake
- Prior project management experience a plusÂ
- Experience with Consumer Product Goods (CPG) or Retail industry experience preferred

Education & Experience:

A bachelor's degree in a related field of study OR a combination of education & experience will be considered.
