OR TECHNICIAN-

Job Summary:        

• Provide indirect and direct patient care under direct supervision of the primary care nurse.    
• Assist in preoperative/perioperative/postoperative procedures under direct supervision of the physician and/or primary care nurse.    
• Process service charges utilizing CRMC computer systems.    
• Maintain supply levels and perform quality checks of equipment/supplies.    
• Assist in data collection for performance improvement activities.    
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.      
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.     

Education:                
High school diploma or equivalent required. BLS and NRP certification required within one year of employment.                              

Experience:                
Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred. Hospital orientation, unit orientation, and completion of OR technician orientation required.                  

Additional Skills/Abilities:                
Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests. Proficient oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills required.
