Manage Talent Acquisition and Employee Onboarding Divisions
Provide guidance, support, and oversight of the Talent Acquisition team and Onboarding team. Provide strategic direction to both Talent Acquisition and Onboarding divisions, including creating systems and standard operating procedures for these areas. Manage Talent Acquisition and Onboarding staff, including daily support, weekly one-on-one check-ins, conducting annual performance reviews, handling progressive discipline as necessary, and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring. Serve as liaison between Talent Acquisition and Onboarding divisions and the Director of Personnel, to include sharing any identified needs of these divisions, including recommendations for hiring, department structure, department efficiencies, etc. Provide updates to the Director of Personnel as needed. (Performs approximately 30% of day)
Support the Director of Personnel and the Human Resources Department with Personnel Management & Administrative Functions
Work in support of and in collaboration with the Director of Personnel to ensure optimal department functioning. General duties include, but are not limited to, providing current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and benefits; using discretion and independent judgement when addressing human resources or personnel related matters affecting organizational policy; performing staffing duties, including mediating disputes and administering disciplinary procedures; conducting exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination; consulting with personnel on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity, sexual and general harassment, and recommending necessary changes; serving as a link between management and employees through work-related issues and helping resolve work-related problems and grievances in an objective and fair manner; planning, directing, supervising, and coordinating work activities of employees and staff relating to Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Investigations; Supporting the Director of Personnel with preparing, distributing and following-up on all personnel performance evaluations; maintaining job descriptions; developing and implementing company-wide pay levels and structure of wage increases; preparing turnover reports and other reports as needed. (Performs approximately 30% of the day)
Manage and Guide Employee Investigations & Research
Provide guidance, support, and oversight of the investigator(s) staff with the internal investigation process relating to employee performance and work-related issues. Create systems and standard operating procedures for the internal investigations division of the personnel department. Regularly study and stay up-to-date on the most recent labor relations legislation and issues; assess and incorporate, if applicable, industry trends. Serve as liaison between the Investigations division and the Director of Personnel, to include sharing any identified needs of the division, including recommendations for hiring, department structure, department efficiencies, etc. Support and encourage People & Culture Senior Manager who drives culture initiatives that lead to productive and positive work outcomes. Provide updates to the Director of Personnel as needed. (Performs approximately 30% of day)
