A minimum of high school diploma or GED is required; 1 to 2 years direct related work experience preferred in accounts payable, bookkeeping, and/or general accounting; skilled with Intuit QuickBooks financial software (Beginner to Intermediate); possess basic clerical skills and understanding of clerical procedures and systems, such as word processing, maintaining files and records ; knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar; be able to communicate clearly in English; ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing, recording and entering information; skilled in logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems; demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, listening and written skills; team building skills; analytical and problem solving skills; knowledgeable of customer and personal service, such as determining the customer’s needs, meeting quality standards of service, and evaluation of customer satisfaction; be able to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships; be able to communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and peers; knowledgeable of bookkeeping and accounting terminology; excellent interpersonal, verbal, active listening and written communication skills; analytical and problem solving skills; stress and time management skills; computer skills including the use of Google Business products, Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency; effective organizational skills; be able to work in a fast paced environment; multi-task various assignments given; and be able to meet set job related goals, objectives and timelines; may be requested to submit to a background, criminal records check; and may be requested to take a drug and alcohol exam after a conditional offer of employment is signed.
