Full Time - 32 hrs or more per week
Days - 8 hr shifts

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The PCT’s role and responsibilities in the Post Surgical Unit are: 

  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Assist in the care of assigned patients as directed by nursing staff.
  • Carry out basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications: 

  1. Nurse Aide
  2. BLS
  3. Demonstrate ability to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day
  4. Demonstrate ability to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis
  5. Demonstrate ability to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis
  6. Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential to our crews.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Certificated Nurse Aide in the state of Kansas
  • Basic Life Support certification required
  • Training or experience in a health-care facility required
  • Demonstrates ability to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day
  • Demonstrates ability to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis
  • Demonstrates ability to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis
  • Require high-level visual and auditory acuity for timely response and patient care assessment activities.
