Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Ability to perform the above responsibilities in a satisfactory manner.
Must be a tournament level tennis player and able to instruct all levels of players.
Must be able to demonstrate the exact stroking method of hitting a tennis ball during a lesson.
Education & Work Experience Requirements:
Four-year college degree is preferred. Member of USPTA preferred and have passed any or all requirements recognized by that organization. Must have several years of coaching experience at the country club level.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance. Employee must be flexible and must be able to bend over and pick up balls at an accelerated speed during and following a lesson. Employees must be capable of running and hitting balls with a tennis racquet with both hands for at least five hours per day.
Employees must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
