About USANT

The U.S. Alumni Network in Tajikistan (USANT), is funded by the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan and implemented by American Councils for International Education, engages Tajik alumni of U.S. government exchange programs to strengthen professional networks, promote entrepreneurship, and advance innovation. Through workshops, mentoring, small grants, AI incubation programs, and social media campaigns, USANT empowers alumni to apply their U.S. exchange experiences to drive economic growth, leadership, and collaboration between Tajikistan and the United States.

Position Overview:

The USANT Program Coordinator will support the USANT Program Manager in implementing and coordinating activities across the network. The Coordinator will assist in alumni engagement, program logistics, communications, small grants management, entrepreneurship and AI incubation programs, and reporting. This is a full-time position requiring strong organizational skills, teamwork, and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders including alumni, U.S. Embassy representatives, and local partners.

Reports to: USANT Program Manager, American Councils for International Education

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day USANT activities, including workshops, trainings, networking events, competitions, and bootcamps.
  • Maintain and update the alumni database, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Support the management of alumni small grants and provide guidance to grantees on project implementation and reporting.
  • Assist in entrepreneurship and AI incubation programs, including mentor-mentee coordination and regional/national events.
  • Support communications and visibility efforts, including social media campaigns, newsletters, and alumni storytelling.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for events, reporting, and program documentation.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international relations, business, economics, education, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in program coordination, project management, alumni engagement, or related areas.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing events, workshops, or trainings.
  • Strong understanding of entrepreneurship, innovation, digital tools, or alumni development programs.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in Tajik, Russian, and English.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, or donor-funded projects preferred.
  • Alumni of U.S. government exchange programs are strongly encouraged to apply.
