Job Title: Regional Sales Director – East
This role isn’t about babysitting accounts. It’s about owning a territory and delivering results. Industries for the Blind and Visually Impaired is hiring a Regional Sales Director to lead new business development across the Eastern U.S. sales territory. The objective is clear: generate new sales, hunt down and close leads, and build a pipeline of new business that drives real growth to support our organizational mission.
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role built for a true hunter. You’ll spend 90% of your time in the field—calling, traveling, meeting, pitching, and closing. The other 10% goes toward working with internal teams to make sure the deals you close stick.
You’ll report to a hands-off but highly supportive leader who values independence, speed, and performance. Communication is direct, expectations are clear, and results are rewarded.
A Day in the Life:
Your laptop is open on a plane before sunrise as you review prospects for the day. You’re checking emails with a cup of coffee in a hotel lobby, then off to your first meeting. There are whiteboard sessions, product demos, and firm handshakes with new business partners. You finish your day with a quick call to the team, log pipeline updates, and prep for tomorrow’s next big win.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and pipeline building – Identify, engage, and nurture potential clients with strategic and consistent outreach.
- Push clients through the full sales cycle – From first contact to final signature, you lead the deal.
- Close on new business – New revenue is the benchmark for success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally – Align with marketing, product, and operations to deliver smart, custom solutions.
