Routing Specialist

Primary Responsibility:

The Routing Specialist is responsible for planning and coordinating daily delivery routes within the transportation department. This position requires availability from Sunday to Thursday, 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with flexibility in both days and hours to meet business demands.

Operational Related Responsibilities:

• Strategize daily route planning
• Create routes
• Log & track units/ maintenance/ trucks down
• Work with Supervisor daily to plan driver assignments
• Do final PM walk through daily before leaving
• Working with night shift to effectively resolve or report transportation issues
• Create, edit trip sheets and provide to night shift by 7 pm
• Upload and assign all routes in Motive
• Take driver calls as needed during off shift
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Experience and Skills:

• Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint working knowledge
• Excellent organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

• May be standing or sitting for extend period of times
