We are currently hiring for: Warehouse Supervisor  - SHIFT - SUNDAY-THURSDAY 7:00am-4:00pm

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities associated with the warehouse operations. This individual ensures productivity levels are reached in an effective and efficient manner, maintains quality performance objectives, and assists in cost control programs.  Manages staffing and training issues and administers discipline. 

Responsibilities 

• Supervises the daily work and safety of employees engaged in order selection, product replenishment, order loading. 

• Collaborates easily with all levels of the organization and serves and contributes as a member of the Company’s Management Team. 

• Manages labor hours. 

• Prepares work schedules including extra workdays and shifts as needed. 

• Administers the proper utilization of Company assets in support of the warehouse. 

• Suggests efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with implementation of changes within night warehouse. 

• Conducts shipping and loading audit daily ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed (including HAACP, food safety, and catch-weight documentation) and that material is handled and stored correctly with a minimum potential for loss. 

• Monitors inventory and establishes controls to ensure the company is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk. 

• Assist with monitoring sanitation and to ensure a safe and clean warehouse. 

• Aid with the training of new associates, including cross-training of existing associates. 

• Conducts regular department or pre-shift meetings. 

• Keeps open communication channels with associates by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures. 

• Trains and consistently enforces Company policies and procedures. 

• Organizes efforts with the Safety department to aid in training, conducting associate observations, up-dating preferred work methods, conducting accident investigations to determine root causes and routine safety inspections. 

• Makes recommendations for disciplinary action and/or behavior modification where required. 

• Performs the duties of employees supervised and other related duties as needed. 

• Complies with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies (i.e., OSHA, USDA, etc.) 

• Works well with other departments.

• Follows PPE protocol and leads that by example.

• Great attitude is a must.

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or related field is required. 

• At least three (3) years’ experience in Logistics and management is required. 

• Must be flexible to be able to cover various positions and shifts. 

• Experience with budgeting. 

• Ability to lead by example. 

• Ability to deal with complex and confidential issues in a professional manner. 

• Must pay attention to detail and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. 

• Must be able to lift and or move 75lbs or more. 

• Must possess outstanding communication skills. 

• Strong mathematical skills. 

• Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.
