We are currently hiring for Sales Support Specialist – Retail Division - Remote must be based in Western Kentucky, Pennsylvania, or Ohio

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to join our Retail Division team. This role is essential in supporting our retail sales operations by managing administrative tasks, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring exceptional service to our retail partners.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales support, strong communication skills, problem solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking projects within the food manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to the Retail Sales Team in managing customer accounts and order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of poultry products.
• Maintain and update customer records, pricing information, and product data in internal systems.
• Prepare sales reports, performance metrics, and customer presentations as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve order discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with new item setup, promotional planning, and inventory tracking.
• Monitor and communicate product availability, lead times, and any changes in production schedules.
• Support trade shows, product demos, and customer visits as required.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in sales support in the food manufacturing industry.
• Ability to travel nationally, 30% of the time to go to customer sites and trade shows.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with customer-facing systems a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the retail grocery industry and poultry products is a plus.
• Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screen.
