Education/Certifications/Licenses:
* High School graduate; some college experience preferred.
* Must be CPR and First Aid certified (before arriving at camp).
Work Experience:
* Prior experience with leading worship preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Ability to play guitar and able to lead students in musical worship in a relevant and interactive manner.
* Love for youth of all ages is essential; capable of providing strong Christian role model.
* Must be passionate for worship and leading primary youth in group singing.
* Mature understanding and respect for authority and peers, as well as camp guidelines and principles.
* Ability to teach with patience and clear instruction.
* Self-Starter and creative.
* Ability to manage sales and inventory.
Physical Demands:
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Requires sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, etc.
Additional Requirements:
* Must be at least 18 years of age due to the requirement for onsite community living.
* Adherence to the basic principles as expressed in MHA’s Mission, Vision, Values and Commitment statements.
* Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
* Satisfactory completion of background investigation as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
