Delivery Driver - Class B - Boom Truck

Our drivers play a key role in increasing customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and ensuring the secure delivery of products to all customers. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service this position might be right for you! We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Boom Truck Driver to join our team. The driver is responsible for delivering materials to customer job sites using a boom-equipped flatbed truck. This role requires both safe driving and skilled crane operation to load and unload products.

• Safely operate a CDL vehicle with boom/crane attachment, MANUAL TRANSMISSION. 
• Prepare truck for operation by loading and securing products, and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers.
• Document delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives; report any discrepancies to company.
• Follow route manifest set by delivery manager.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections,  maintain proper documentation, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations.
• May assist warehouse personnel with preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, and verifying incoming materials. 
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery timelines or site access.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build professional relationships by treating customers and colleagues in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Maintain a safe driving record free of violations.

Qualifications:

• Have a valid CDL Class B Driver’s License (or CDL Class A).
• MUST HAVE EXPERTISE WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION. 
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating boom/crane trucks or forklifts in a delivery or construction setting.
• Clean driving record free of accidents and moving violations.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics a plus.
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Have a positive attitude, be a good team player and maintain good attendance. 
• Position is full time, must have flexibility in hours. 

Physical Demands

• Requires long periods of sitting.
• Ability to lift up to 75-100 lbs.
• Frequently ascends/descends from truck during deliveries.
• Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperature.
