Job Summary
Under the direction of the Sales Manager, The Medicare Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) Medicare TeleSales Representative is responsible for:

Executing CenCal Health’s sales and marketing strategy to maximize membership growth by meeting individual sales and performance goals while selling in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements, policies and procedures, and business requirements.

Conducting sales activities via inbound and outbound calls to leads, which include the accurate education on the CenCal Health D-SNP product, securing necessary paperwork, adhering to approved scripts, and recording all activities into a sales customer relationship management software system.

Working all assigned leads and assisting to close business by setting up in-person sales appointments for other reps as well as pursuing the completion of partial self-enrollment opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Perform typical telesales responsibilities that lead to the Company meeting enrollment goals, with duties including but not limited to:

Handling recorded inbound phone calls from and conducting recorded outbound calls to existing leads (i.e., current members with both Medi-Cal and Medicare coverage or those Medi-Cal members who are approaching age 65.) All leads are current CenCal Health Medi-Cal members, so no lead generation is required!

Utilizing and adhering to approved scripts and contact guidelines when interacting with potential enrollees.

Scheduling in-home sales appointments when needed to accommodate lead.

Taking reservations from leads to attend in-community sales events when needed to accommodate lead.

Making outbound calls to follow up and close business; enrolling those interested during calls.

Educating leads accurately and compliantly on Medicare, D-SNP product and enrollment benefits, and the product’s network and formulary while presenting the product’s value proposition.

Assisting leads in their informed decision-making by looking up the lead’s current prescription medications and doctor preferences to ensure satisfaction.
2. Performing supportive sales activities to accurately move leads through the sales pipeline to conclusion.

Maintaining regulatory requirements for compliant sales interactions.

Answering questions related to Medicare D-SNP benefits and enrollment choices accurately.

Sends out sales packets to interested leads.

Responding to the next business day to after-hour messages and website inquiries.
3. Documenting all sales activities on each lead to be able to prove compliance in activities.

Documenting all relevant notes and activities in the sales customer relationship management software system (CRM).

Responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity of the CRM data by mastering the software EvolveNXT through training.

Adhering to compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), and CenCal Health’s Regulatory Affairs & Compliance regulatory guidelines.
4. Consistently meeting assigned goals and enrollment benchmarks for product growth campaigns and meeting minimum monthly and quarterly performance and production standards.

Performance evaluation is performed by meeting sales goals, conversion rates, and other metric goals in full compliance with regulations.

Performance and production standards may be adjusted on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis as required to meet the department goals and objectives for all lines of business.
5. Completing other duties as assigned.

Participating in departmental and non-departmental meetings.

Comply with the organization’s Code of Conduct, all regulatory and contractual requirements, organizational policies, procedures, and internal controls.
