Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $56,000–$64,600 (based on experience)

• Sign-on bonus to celebrate your arrival

• 7 paid personal days annually

Your Day-to-Day

As our Math Teacher, you’ll:

• Teach high school math courses aligned with Colorado standards
• Develop engaging lessons and activities that promote conceptual understanding and mastery
• Use Direct Instruction models (Madeline Hunter, “I do, we do, you do”) to ensure strong student outcomes
• Build a positive, safe, and focused classroom environment rooted in professionalism and respect
• Incorporate Teach Like a Champion techniques to drive engagement and maintain high expectations
• Track and analyze student progress, communicate with families, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure success

Minimum Requirements

• Colorado Secondary Math License OR 36 credit hours in Math OR passing score on PRAXIS Mathematics Exam
• Experience with Direct Instruction and Teach Like a Champion methods preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Previous teaching or relevant work with youth preferred
