Security

J. Polep Distribution Services/NCD is looking for full time and part-time Security Officers to join our team in Chicopee, MA.

Position Summary:
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and the general public. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a variety of tasks related to detecting and preventing criminal activity, theft, and the prevention of damage to property.  

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid Guard Card
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• The ability to communicate effectively with the public, management and employees.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies or violent crimes
• The ability to stand and walk continuously for 8 hours or more in a climate-controlled environment.
• Must have CPR First Aid Certification
