Art Director — Dunlop Sports Americas

Join a team of dedicated creatives to help shape the brand visuals and global campaigns for a family of unique and exciting golf club brands. As our Art Director, you’ll own hands‑on design and visuals across print, broadcast, web, digital, and retail, shepherding ideas from brief to launch while mentoring junior creatives along the way. You’ll collaborate with Copy, Product, Marketing and Executive teams, raising the bar on craft and helping shape the foundations of our brands’ visual systems.

The Art Director is a senior member of our in-house Creative Team, focusing on our portfolio of fast-growing golf brands including the tour-dominant Srixon Golf, original short-game innovator Cleveland Golf, and effortlessly premium XXIO Golf.  Our parent company is Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd., and our sister companies include Dunlop Tires, Falkon Tires, Dunlop Racket Sports, and more.

 

What you’ll do

  • Join the Creative Leadership Team in a pivotal role as equal parts doer and leader. Help shape our brand look and feel as a key contributor to high-level brand, campaign, and strategy planning.
  • Ideate, craft, and launch world-wide campaigns that tell powerful brand stories and launch exciting new products
  • Ship high‑quality graphics, layouts, text treatments, photo edits, color palettes, hierarchies, infographics, logos, 3D renders, art styles, and style guides across print ads, catalogs, in‑store and event signage, OOH, web, and digital advertising. 
  • Collaborate fluidly with Copy and Product teams, fellow designers, and creative leadership to translate strategy into compelling visual systems
  • Present and defend work, field feedback and manage revisions while upholding best practices
  • Mentor junior designers through constructive feedback, guidance, and a collaborative, experiment‑friendly environment. 

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years’ agency or in-house experiencing demonstrating hands‑on mastery of design tools, best practice, processes and workflows, and seamless cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Portfolio of brand-building and multi‑channel campaigns spanning broadcast, digital, web, print, and experiential.
  • A love for the game of golf and a passion for pushing boundaries with exciting, forward-thinking, award-winning creative.
  • Sharp creative judgment on brand systems and campaign visuals with the ability to articulate and defend decisions to non‑design stakeholders. 
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate/defend design decisions with stakeholders at various levels. 
  • Operational rigor: time management, prioritization, and proactive communication in fast‑moving, multi‑brand workflows. 
  • Product marketing know-how and translating product knowledge into design choices is second nature
