Position Overview: Physical Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. You will work closely with patients to enhance their mobility, alleviate pain, and improve their overall physical function. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, along with experience in various specialties such as orthopedics and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments and goals.
  • Implement treatment programs that may include exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care strategies to promote recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy techniques.
  • Experience in orthopedics and geriatrics is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
