About the Role 

Are you a storyteller at heart with a knack for crafting clear, compelling messages? Team Housing Solutions is looking for a creative, detail-driven Communications Specialist to join our collaborative, fast-moving marketing team. In this role, you’ll help shape how the world sees our brand—building trust with clients and partners, engaging our employees, and ensuring every message we put out is polished, consistent, and on point. 

You’ll be part of a team that bounces ideas off each other, brainstorms, and works together to turn concepts into impactful campaigns. This role is based out of our New Braunfels, Texas office and requires in office attendance during regular business hours. 

Job Duties 

Content Creation & Editing 

  • Write, edit, and polish content for the company website, email campaigns, social media, press releases, brochures, and internal communications. 

  • Create simple graphics and visual content for both digital and print, using tools like Adobe Suite. 

  • Write scripts, produce internal newsletters, and support event communications. 

 Marketing & Communication Strategy 

  • Partner with the Marketing Specialist and other team members to keep our social media engaging and on-brand. 

  • Help plan and roll out communication strategies that support marketing campaigns, client outreach, employee engagement, and public relations. 

  • Maintain brand consistency and visual identity across all channels. 

Research, Trends & Performance Tracking 

  • Stay on top of industry news, media coverage, and communication trends to inspire fresh ideas. 

  • Track analytics and engagement metrics to measure success and inform future strategies. 

 

Minimum Position Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. 

  • 1–2 years of experience in communications or marketing (internships count!). 

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 

  • Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Suite, Adobe Express, or similar tools. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite). 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills 

  • 2–3 writing samples required with your application. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience writing case studies, success stories, or long-form business content. 

  • Strong interest in capturing, editing, and producing photography, videography, and drone footage. 

  • Familiarity with website builders (e.g., Squarespace) and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp). 

  • An interest in current events and public affairs —and the ability to connect big-picture trends to messaging strategies. 

  • Knowledge of SEO, analytics tools, and digital marketing best practices.
