Motor Coach Radio Technician

Pay:  $20.00-$25.00/hour commensurate with experience

**Must have your own tools**

Job Description and Expectations:

Responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of audio and video equipment, along with their accessories and other electronic communication equipment, into a wide range of vehicles, including Motor Coaches. Test electronic equipment and components using special testing tools if required. Corrects malfunctions to restore the conformance up to established specifications. Maintain constant communication with supervisor to document repairs, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains inventory of all parts and keep meticulous logs and records. May work at elevated heights on building rooftops or in small, confined spaces in a variety of weather conditions. Always work in a safe manner following all established safety rules and regulations. May be required to perform other related duties as requested. May be required to perform other related duties as requested.

Requirements:

• Experience in reading schematic wiring diagrams
• Basic DC and LV knowledge
• Knowledge of 2-way radio in vehicle operation and testing is a plus
• Can operate both Android and Window’s based operating systems
• Proficient with power tools, battery, electric and pneumatic
• Climb up and down secured ladders reaching rooftops
• Will be required to drive company vehicles
• Ability to push/lift/pull up to 65 pounds
• Ability to bend, sit, kneel, climb, walk, crouch as job may require
• Ability to work in extreme or inclement weather if required
• Work around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints, heavy machinery in a safe manner
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be well organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks based upon safety and need
• Must be able to work well independently and with team members
• Must have current driver’s license
