Required Education and Experience
- A combination of a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or relevant field, and/or an education and relevant experience, which enables the individual to meet the standards and expectations of the position.
- A minimum of five (5) years of direct supervisory experience and management experience in a warehouse setting is strongly preferred.
- Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
- Experience with negotiating sales of recycling, surplus, salvage, or other commodities preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to express in both written and verbal forms.
- Ability to define and analyze problems and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to work cooperatively across the organization.
- Ability to make decisions using standards that can be measured.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
- Ability to provide strategic oversight to departments under his/her direction.
- Ability to plan and direct the work of others and delegate effectively.
- Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite, and have the ability to learn and effectively utilize data analysis software.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule when required by business needs
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactorily complete a motor vehicle check.
