Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and motivating Zumba Instructor to lead group fitness classes. The Zumba instructor is responsible for providing luxury service to residents. As a Zumba Instructor, you will create an engaging, and inclusive environment where participants of all levels can enjoy a high-energy workout through dance and movement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-energy Zumba classes that are safe, engaging, and aligned with class objectives.
- Choreograph routines to a variety of musical styles, ensuring movements suit all fitness levels.
- Greet residents in a friendly and efficient manner, motivate, and engage with participants before, during, and after classes.
- Verify resident credentials and their ability to enter the class.
- Provide modifications or alternative moves for beginners, seniors, or participants with special needs.
- Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere in all classes.
- memorize the names and faces of the unit owners and renters
- Ensure the safety of all participants by teaching correct form and movement.
- Prepare the studio or workout space prior to class (music setup, space clearance).
- Always maintain an orderly and pristine environment.
- Properly sanitize, store, and secure all equipment
- Promote upcoming classes and encourage regular attendance.
- Stay up to date with current fitness and Zumba trends.
Required Skills and Education
- Highschool or Equivalent
- Certified Zumba Instructor (Zumba Basic 1 Certification required; additional Zumba specialty certifications are a plus).
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous group Zumba or dance instruction experience preferred.
- Luxury hotels, resorts, clubs, or residential environment experience.

Physical Demands
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be physically fit to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds.
- Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch.
- Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push.
- Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
Work Environment
- Indoor or outdoor setting.
- Loud music environment with high energy levels.
Work Location and Schedule
- In person. Flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
Job Type and Pay:
- Independent Contractor.
- $100.00 an hour
