Chief Medical Officer

Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center (SURHC) is seeking a visionary and dedicated Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead the clinical operations across our medical and behavioral health services. As the CMO, you will serve as the senior clinical leader, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to our diverse community while advancing the mission and strategic goals of SURHC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic clinical leadership and direction for all healthcare services.

• Oversee clinical quality initiatives, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practices.

• Collaborate with the COO to expand services, implement new programs, and enhance operational excellence.

• Lead provider teams, foster professional development, and ensure high standards of care.

• Serve as liaison between clinical staff and administration, promoting a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O., licensed in Missouri (unrestricted).

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.

• At least five years of clinical experience and four years in healthcare leadership.

• Experience with FQHCs or integrated health systems strongly preferred.

• Advanced degree in public health, healthcare administration, or related field is a plus.
