Position Summary:
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician supports the Aircraft Maintenance Manager in conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on company-operated and managed aircraft. This position plays a key role in ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance. The Technician will assist in troubleshooting, performing routine servicing, and supporting the timely completion of maintenance tasks under the guidance of senior maintenance personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintenance Support:
Assist in performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft systems, structures, and engines, ensuring work meets company and FAA standards.

Inspections:
Support pre- and post-flight inspections and assist with scheduled maintenance checks. Use appropriate tools to identify wear or damage under the direction of the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.

AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Response:
Assist in responding to AOG situations to support returning aircraft to service. Some travel to airport locations may be required, estimated at up to 15%.

Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and environmental guidelines when handling aircraft maintenance and hazardous materials.

Technical Assistance:
Collaborate with the maintenance control team and Maintenance Manager to ensure accurate communication regarding maintenance status and needs.

Documentation:
Accurately complete maintenance records, inspection forms, and work orders for all tasks performed. Assist in receiving inspections for incoming parts and supplies.

Continuous Improvement:
Support the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) by participating in safety initiatives and reporting observations or potential improvements.
