Job Description (Operations, Machines, etc.):
- Read and understand process instructions.
- Set up and run thread roll machines including Reed, Waterbury, Hartford, in both automatic and hand-fed configurations.
- Perform visual and manual inspection, using inspection equipment such as microscope, comparator, micrometer, tri-rolls, and various gauges.
- Analyze and accurately interpret blueprints, customer drawings and industry specifications required.
- Attention to detail with ability to think and act analytically and use mathematics to meet job requirements.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
- Effective team member, willing to work and communicate with all levels of the business.
- Excellent attendance record, including punctuality.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years Thread Roll experience preferred, Aerospace fastener Industry experience a plus
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lift/ carry up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand 100% of shift.
- Ability to work overtime if needed, including weekends if needed.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
