Site Lead - Dallas, NC

The Site Lead is responsible for overseeing all Stellar day-to-day operations at our customer partner site, Dixon Quick Coupling in Dallas, North Carolina, ensuring exceptional customer service, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Acting as the primary on-site representative, the Site Lead ensures alignment with company mission, vision, values and customer expectations. This role is pivotal in ensuring service performance, team accountability, and inventory accuracy while maintaining positive relationships with both the customer and Stellar’s internal teams.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

• Serve as the on-site liaison between the customer and Stellar, ensuring prompt, professional, and courteous service.
• Advocate for the customer by understanding their needs and leveraging all Stellar resources to exceed expectations.
• Act as the escalation point for service issues and collaborate with internal teams to ensure resolution.

Site Operations & Process Management

• Oversee daily operations including order placement, receiving, stock put-away, and inventory checks.
• Ensure site cleanliness, organization, efficiency, and safety at all times.
• Adhere to all customer and company procedures and policies.
• Utilize systems such as our ERP system, Prophet 21 (P21) and CribMaster/AutoCrib to manage inventory, orders, and site data.

Inventory & Supply Chain Oversight

• Maintain integrity and accuracy of all site-managed inventory.
• Monitor min/max levels, safety stock, and material availability.
• Communicate with Customer Experience and Product Management on customer needs, supplier performance, and stock imbalances.
• Ensure proper documentation and processes are followed for all material movements.
• Hazardous Materials & Environmental Compliance
• Oversee all hazardous waste sorting, packaging, documentation, and disposal per DOT and EPA regulations.
• Supervise HAZMAT activities including waste classification, jug handling, daily drum crushing, and monthly manifest preparation.
• Maintain required certifications or ensure the ability to obtain: HAZWOPER, DOT, Lab Pack/Bulk Pack.

Sales & Supplier Coordination

• Facilitate collaboration between Stellar’s site team, sales team, supplier representatives, and the customer to align goals and initiatives.
• Represent Stellar with supplier partners and stay informed on new products, changes, and promotions.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, customer-first mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Teams, and Excel
• Comfortable learning and using ERP, inventory, and vending systems (experience with Prophet 21 and/or Arcturus a plus). 
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, demanding environment.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree or higher preferred.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in operations, customer service, inventory, or warehouse leadership roles.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Light to moderate physical effort including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 75lbs occasionally.
• Repetitive motion tasks and use of light tools.
• Work may involve exposure to hazardous materials with proper PPE and training provided.
• The environment includes typical warehouse and industrial conditions, with marginal to moderate hazards.
