The Job 

The Manager will lead and oversee the daily operations of assigned programs and services, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, licensure, and accreditation requirements. This role involves supervising and developing staff, managing resources, and ensuring the effective delivery of services. The Manager will collaborate with the leadership team, participate in strategic planning, and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of programs. They will also uphold the values and mission of MHA-NE, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous growth while promoting a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.

What Will You Do 

  • Work as a member of the REAL team to assist with daily program operations and provide Intentional Peer Support to individuals referred and/or seeking services.  
  • Provide education and advocacy as needed so individuals can make informed decisions regarding their own avenues of finding wellness and healing 
  • Maintain confidentiality – Adhere to strict policy of keeping all individual’s information safe by maintaining confidentiality 
  • Provide individualized support as they navigate systems and community resources, keeping trauma informed and person directed approach 
  • Complete all necessary documentation
  • Adhere to all program policies and procedures 

Qualifications

  • Provide strong leadership and support to area staff, ensuring alignment with licensure, accreditation standards, and the mission and values of MHA-NE.
  • Set clear team goals and expectations while fostering a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
  • Oversee personnel activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and retention strategies.
  • Address performance issues and resolve conflicts to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Develop and manage daily operations, including workflows, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational metrics and team morale to ensure effectiveness and engagement.
  • Lead departmental and cross-functional projects, tracking progress to meet organizational goals.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation, reports, and data collection.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and senior leadership, representing the department in cross-functional meetings.
  • Uphold organizational compliance with regulatory, licensure, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain fiscal accountability by assisting with budgeting, cost control, and expenditure approval.
  • Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions.
