Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Dental Director, the Registered Dental Assistant assists with oral surgeries and other procedures while preparing and arranging necessary tools and instruments for scheduled procedures as well as taking, processing and developing dental X-rays.
Job Status: Full-time, Hourly Non-exempt
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Takes, processes, and develops dental x-rays.
- Comprehends and follows oral and written directions.
- Analyzes situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.
- Works efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Interfaces effectively in a team environment with agency staff and volunteers.
- Handles crisis and stressful situations in an effective, calm and respectful manner.
- Learns and use the EMR system in house, in addition to other general office computer programs.
- Accesses patient protected health information as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Sign-on Bonus:
We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus of $5,000 for this position. Half of the amount will be paid with your first paycheck, and half of the amount will be paid after 6 months of employment.
