Boone Memorial Health is seeking a compassionate and driven Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. At the heart of our system is a 25-bed inpatient hospital with a 24/7 Emergency Department designated as a Level IV Trauma Center. Qualifications
Required:
-
Current RN licensure in the State of West Virginia

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training available if not current)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (required, but training provided if not yet certified)

Strong communication, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct, evidence-based patient care in a dynamic emergency setting

Triage patients and respond rapidly to urgent and life-threatening situations

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless care coordination

Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR

Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
