SCOPE OF POSITION:

The Human Resources Clerk position is in the Human Resources Department in Comanche Nation Entertainment and provides administrative support and clerical duties for Human Resources (HR) and Employee Benefits operations. The Human Resource Clerk’s performance is essential to the casino reaching its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are major duties and are not intended to be all-inclusive or restrictive.

  • Answers the telephone and provides responses to inquiries by employees, management, and other CNCs properties or outside businesses.
  • Files personnel documents in a timely and accurate manner and maintains personnel files for prompt retrieval of documents. Files are maintained in a secure and confidential system.
  • Processes documents according to established policies and procedures and scans, shreds, and indexes documents, accordingly.
  • Performs staffing duties within the recruitment system, including retrieval of applications, screening of applicants, and scheduling interviews.
  • Provides assistance for employee benefits programs through benefits enrollment and termination activities; maintenance of records; the processing of invoices; and responding to inquiries by benefits providers, management, and employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

The Human Resources Clerk regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests, and operates a computer and other office equipment. Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location, and the amount of business. The Human Resources Clerk must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.

The Human Resources Clerk may be exposed to the risks associated with attempting to resolve contentious issues with guests and staff members.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalency to include Home School Certificate.
  • Training and/or work experience documentation should prove a stable employment history and excellent oral and written communication skills.
