Position Overview

The Provider Enrollment Specialist role for OrthoMed Anesthesia focuses on managing the credentialing and enrollment process for anesthesia providers. The specialist will work closely with insurance companies, healthcare facilities, and internal teams to ensure smooth revenue cycle operations. This is a full-time position based at our corporate office in Addison, TX, reporting to the VP of Revenue. The role requires on-site presence during regular business hours.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the enrollment and credentialing process for anesthesia providers with insurance companies and healthcare facilities
  • Prepare and submit accurate and complete enrollment applications
  • Track and follow up on pending applications to ensure timely processing
  • Maintain up-to-date records of provider credentials and enrollment status
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth revenue cycle operations
  • Stay current with industry regulations and payer requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare enrollment, preferably in anesthesia or related specialty
  • Strong knowledge of medical credentialing and payer enrollment processes
  • Familiarity with anesthesia billing and coding preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and healthcare-specific software
  • Other duties as assigned
