Who we are:
Since 1998, Sports Basement has been Northern California's favorite sports and outdoors store, with locations spread across the Bay Area. From cycling to camping, snow sports to fitness, ski, snowboard, and bike shops along with one of the largest rental fleets in the nation - we sell and rent it all! Our stores also act as community hubs, offering free space for meetings and events, sponsoring local races, and providing over $11 million in donations and charitable contributions to schools and other nonprofits through our Basementeer program. We know that your gear is more than just stuff, and likewise, we're more than just a store, and more than just an employer - we're here to help everyone love the outdoors, and if that describes you too, then you're somebody that we want to know.
Our Mission:
We strive to help those communities shine a little brighter, be a little greener, and make our shared outdoor and indoor spaces more fun and accessible for everyone. At the end of the day, we know that your gear is more than just stuff, and we're more than just a store.
Our Core Values:
It's all been said before: We care about the customer, the community, the environment, etc. These are common values by which most companies try to abide. We are different because of how we prioritize and execute these values every day.
