JOB SUMMARY: The Staff Accountant plays a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and contributing to strategic financial planning. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing our UK entity accounting including the Accounts Payable process, recording journal entries, and managing the prepaid and process. The role will assist in various aspects of the US business general accounting procedures including a large role in lease/landlord management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Understand, review and approve invoices from vendors for appropriate accounting as well as payment processing
- Work with vendors on issues on their invoices
- Own the prepaid process and record monthly amortization
- Review of available credit on corporate credit card
- Review and own expense reimbursement process for all employees
- Process expense reports on a weekly basis
- Prepare journal entries during the month end close process
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for a set of accounts
- Maintain the debt and interest schedules and manage debt payments
- Review and understand where business improvements can be put in place for optimal business performance
- Prepare ad-hoc and analysis reports as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
COMPENSATION
The salary for this role is $70,000 to $74,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s particular pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
