This position functions under the general supervision of the Red Bull North General Sales Manager allowing for latitude for independent direction in duties within their assigned territory. The main priority is managing, leading, and working with a team of Driver-Sell Sales Representatives in the trade that are held accountable for executing Red Bull Brand Standards and In Store Execution Priorities. The Driver-Sell Sales Supervisor is responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, retaining, connecting with their team, and assisting/supporting in the supervision of additional individuals within the Red Bull department. The Supervisor will be responsible for coaching and developing their team members by working with their Sales Representatives on their routes and holding them accountable for delivering Sales and Execution priorities.
Job Details:
- Spend a minimum of one (1) full day a week completing a gate-to-gate route ride with a Sales Rep. Primary purpose of Route Rides is to train, develop and evaluate the In Store execution performance of the Sales Rep.
- Survey a minimum of 8 WVC DP Managed Accounts per week. Primary purpose of the market surveys is to verify In Store Standards, VIP Compliance and identify incremental QPOD opportunities.
- Teach and develop Sales Rep how to use selling and insight skills using the current established selling process, this will include roles plays, overcoming objections and retail math skills.
- Conduct conversations with Sales Reps daily to align on weekly/monthly priorities and communicate and monitor execution updates on these priorities to close gaps.
- Execute coverage of vacant or unmanned sales route when necessary.
- Recruit top talent and participate in hiring process.
- Onboard Sales Reps properly so they are prepared to run a sales route.
- Continue to execute retention strategy to reduce turnover.
- Provides day to day direction of duties as performed by designated sales staff.
- Performs regular 1:1s with direct reports, sets goals and KPIs, holding team accountable for results and efficiencies.
- Identify and report non-compliant performance in regards Standards of Conduct and other Company policies to Sales Manager, recommend and participate in disciplinary actions.
- Manage inventory control processes with sales staff effectively.
- Participate in and conduct periodic training for Department employees on topics such as new policies, inventory cost management, product standards, or operational processes, and others.
