Position Summary
The Clinical Practice Manager is responsible for the daily operations and activities that ensure a high volume clinic with high patient satisfaction scores and that maximizes revenue generation. The Clinic Manager will work closely with clinical, non-clinical and revenue cycle, and finance staff. This position also provides day-to-day customer experience management and will help to guide the CrescentCare Clinics toward future growth and success.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic activities and provide direction and guidance to clinic staff as needed to ensure a high volume clinic at both locations.
- Coordinates with the call center and the registration team and manages provider schedules to optimize visit volume and patient access to care.
- Directs, implements, and supports strategies and action plans for areas of clinical operations responsibility.
- Oversee the inventory management of on-site medications & clinic supplies to support cost reduction initiatives.
- Oversee onboarding process for new providers.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory guidance and the appropriate implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Assist Clinical Practice Director with interviews, and hiring decisions for new staff members, and contributes to performance reviews.
- Supports Clinical Practice Director with establishing work standards and team member goals and objectives, professional development of staff, recruitment and training of new hires in assigned jobs and employee satisfaction and retention activities
- Assist with Environmental (EOC) Rounds Worksheet Follow -up. Support quality and data related projects, including but not limited to UDS, RSR, PCMH.
- Identify areas for process improvements, opportunities and implements appropriate corrective actions.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or comparable area of study required.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 1 supervisory experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of health care or clinical operations experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in health care practice management leadership preferred.
