TEMPORARY Cashier - White River Jct. Store - FT 30 hours

Quality Standards/Job Summary: Consistently provides a high level of customer service meeting the needs of the customer as well as the department needs. Performs at a higher level in completing cashier and courtesy clerk responsibilities setting examples for co-workers to follow.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sets excellent examples in Customer Service Specialists 1 and 2 standards- including but not limited to errors, over/shorts, and EOD procedures.
• Performs at a high level of cashiering responsibilities on a daily basis
• Demonstrates accuracy consistently
• Is aware and recognizes the customers needs and takes the initiative to react accordingly
• Sets role modeling examples for cashiering
• Ability to listen and handle customer complaints/concerns in a controlled manner – directing them to the appropriate individual
• Has knowledge of products and their location
• Exhibits Teamwork by being flexible and dependable meeting the department needs
• Represents the Co-op in a positive manner

Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs. on a regular basis. Has the experience to exhibit excellent cashiering skills.

Attendance Requirements: Flexible hours, including weekend and evening shifts.
