Job Summary

The Digital Copywriter at Strong Automotive is responsible for creating original, accurate, engaging, and persuasive digital content for multiple client initiatives. This role involves writing both casual, conversational content and more technical automotive pieces about the latest vehicle releases, focusing on tech and safety features. The Digital Copywriter works independently and within a team environment, adapting quickly to changes in strategy or deadlines. Flexibility and the ability to effectively convey a range of ideas are key to success in this role. 

Responsibilities 

  • Write compelling content for SEO and Local SEO assignments, as well as blog content as assigned. 

  • Develop additional content for agency products, services, and objectives as requested. 

  • Collaborate with Content Marketing Coordinators, Editors, and the SEO team to ensure quality and relevant content for clients. 

  • Follow guidelines set by Digital, Brand, and Compliance standards to maintain consistency and accuracy. 

  • Adhere to state and federal advertising laws to ensure compliance in all written content. 

  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and engagement while maintaining a consistent style, grammar, and tone. 

  • Maximize site traffic and visibility by incorporating SEO best practices and keyword optimization. 

  • Research industry-related topics, including new vehicle model releases and community-related subjects for clients nationwide. 

  • Identify content opportunities, generate, and recommend new topic ideas based on industry trends and audience engagement. 

  • Consistently meet internal and external deadlines for content creation and publishing. 

  • When needed, manage posting and execution of content on digital platforms. 

  • Stay informed on automotive, digital, and content trends to refine content strategies. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, or similar role in an agency or digital marketing environment. 

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. 

  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for digital content. 

  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently. 

  • Familiarity with automotive industry trends is a plus. 

  • Experience using content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms. 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.

  • Spanish fluency required.
