Description

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Vice President of Child Welfare to join our PFSN, Foster Care, Shared Services, and Transitional Age Youth programming. The Vice President of Child Welfare is responsible for accurately executing board approved strategies for the Permanent Family Solutions Network (PFSN), Foster Care, and Transitional Age Youth (TAY) programs at The Buckeye Ranch. This position will ensure that each program is managed in accordance with all applicable state and federal guidelines. Finally, a keen ability to implement tactical program expansion, locate and vet merger and acquisition opportunities, improve financial and quality outcomes, and the ability to expand partnerships within the community are primary expectations.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead PFSN, Foster Care, and TAY leadership teams responsible for day-to-day activities.
  • Directly supervise the Director of PFSN, Foster Care, and Shared Services.
  • Effectively work with cross functional teams to identify and implement solutions that support program improvements, quality outcomes, and growth.
  • Successfully manage overall and/or departmental budget. Meets annual budget.
  • Effectively work with cross functional teams to identify and implement solutions that support improvements or growth.
  • Engage in regular audits of clinical charts, analyzes data, and provides feedback to program directors and Ranch managers.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • You have a master’s degree in social work, or related field.
  • You have 10+ years of child welfare management experience.
  • You have an active Ohio LSW or LPC; LISW or LPCC preferred.
  • You have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
