- 5+ years of procurement, purchasing or sourcing experience, including contract negotiations and contract management.
- Experience in property management, multifamily housing procurement or purchasing, construction or facilities. A minimum of seven years of progressive experience as a Purchasing or Supply Chain Manager, including bids and contracts, and vendor management.
- Proven ability to develop vendor strategies and negotiate favorable contracts.
- Proven track record meeting substantial cost reduction targets.
- Proficiency with ERP/purchasing systems and Excel-based bid analysis.
- Proven success in collaborating across functional areas.
Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Multifamily housing, affordable housing, or property management procurement experience.
- Experience bidding and negotiating Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and contracts across multiple trades.
- Strong background in vendor management.
- Experience with category strategy and sourcing in both recurring services (unit turns, maintenance) and capital/rehab projects.
- National contract negotiation and rebate program management.
- Yardi and Yardi Marketplace experience a plus.
- Proven ability to deliver cost savings through competitive bidding, value engineering, and supplier consolidation.
