Key Responsibilities
Strategic Direction & Execution:
-
Collaborate cross-functionally to create and execute financial strategies that support the overall business objectives.Â

Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
-
Provide insights and strategic guidance to the leadership team regarding financial planning and decision making.

Oversee strategic partnerships with clients, vendors and third parties to enhance organizational resilience and add value to the business

Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, such as credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.

Assess, manage and deploy effective usage of Accounting Systems and Software.

Lead and Manage for Accountability:

Protects assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information through consistent and effective processes, strong internal controls and interdepartmental collaboration.

Manage the accounting department, including tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger maintenance.

Build financial knowledge, skills and bench strength in the Accounting Department.Â

Foster an environment of empowerment, collaboration and growth and align departmental goals with organizational strategies and objectives. Â

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate across departments to develop and manage the company’s budget, monitor variances and provide financial forecasts, insights, and guidance.

Identify and implement improvements to the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Â
Capital Management:

Manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet obligations and invest in growth opportunities.

Manage the company’s capital structure, including debt, equity, and other financing options.

Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities, ensuring the company’s capital is deployed efficiently.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations and accounting standards.

Oversee the preparation of financial statement and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS.

Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
