Education, Licensure, Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- Community outreach and organizing experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge and awareness of community organizations, social services, and other resources within NFP’s service area.
- Understanding of Cleveland’s community development and governmental services landscape.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and the public, including with those from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and training skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management programs.
- Ability to speak secondary language preferred.
Essential Physical Demands and Working Environment:
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, including through the use of electronic communication devices.
- Able to travel locally and regionally required. Valid driver’s license and active automobile insurance required.
- Able to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
