Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We are a Center who uses student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. With a capacity of 208 students, we strive to achieve excellence for each student across 8 different trades.

We are looking for an exceptional Workplace Learning Coordinator to join our team of education professionals.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8a-12p

Workplace Learning Coordinator SUMMARY:

  • Responsible to provide students with employability training leading to full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training. Oversees work-based learning program ensuring students are actively participating in on and off-Center on-the-job training assignments to improve their employability skill set.

Workplace Learning Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifies viable work-based learning employer sites
  • Establishes supportive/mentoring relationships with students throughout their enrollment and provides employability and career counseling. Routinely evaluates student performance, and identifies/remediates barriers preventing student achievement and success.
  • Provides transportation services to meet Center requirements.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree from an accredited school required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school preferred. Prefer previous Job Corps, technical school or higher education experience. Computer literacy and proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications required. Must possess a valid in-state Driver’s License and meet the Company insurability requirements.
